I opened my own practice in 1989 and have spent every year since helping families across Central Illinois prepare for and move through retirement. Over more than three decades, I've watched markets climb and fall, economies expand and contract, and the industry itself change a great deal, and I've kept my focus on the one thing that holds steady through all of it: giving each client real value, year after year. A number of the relationships I've built have lasted 25 years or more, which is something I'm proud of and don't take for granted.
As I look toward my own retirement, I've been working closely with Logan Dirks to carry that same standard into the firm's next chapter. Passing the business to the right person mattered a great deal to me, and I've spent these last few years making sure our clients are in capable hands for the long run.
Outside of work, I'm happiest outdoors. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and traveling to new places, and I value the time I get to spend with my family. Those passions, along with a lifelong commitment to serving the people around me, still shape how I show up every day.
